Repertoire

The Chorale performs a broad variety of liturgical and secular choral music from many traditions and genres, from the medieval, renaissance, baroque, and classical repertoire, to opera, folk, Broadway, and world music.

We typically present a spring concert and a fall concert, along with a popular “Messiah & Carols" Sing-Along” at Christmas time. The group performs all over Sussex County, often with professional soloists and musicians. We have performed with the Mid-Atlantic Symphony, the Newark Symphony, the Delaware Choral Society, and the Chesapeake Silver Cornet Brass Band.

Members

The Chorale fluctuates in size depending on the season and the music being performed. The number of singers typically ranges between 60 and 80. New members are welcome, without audition. For information, click here.
The Ensemble

The Ensemble is a smaller group of the Chorale's singers who perform for special events. Their repertoire embraces a variety of music from the Renaissance to classical and contemporary, as well as patriotic and seasonal pieces and well-known hymns.
